Today, Congresswoman Lisa Blunt Rochester (DE-AL) issued a statement on the comments made by President Trump this weekend telling four Members of the House of Representatives to, "go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came."
"The President's words were racist and hateful and have no place in our society," said Congresswoman Blunt Rochester. "The fact that the President continues to traffic in hate speech should cause all of our elected leaders to denounce this harmful rhetoric. While I am disappointed by the lack of presidential decorum, it is sadly not shocking and takes our focus off of the pressing needs of the American people."
